I received a question recently from Elsa. “What’s a garden?”, Elsa asked. This is what I think.
A garden is a place where things grow. Sometimes those ‘things’ are vegetables or fruit. Sometimes those ‘things’ are bugs and weeds! But the best thing to grow in a garden is a child. Children grow best when they are watered with love and time. They grow best when their creativity is cultivated and their questions are encouraged. Enthusiasm, knowledge, confidence and friendship grow really well in a garden where children are planted. A garden is a place to explore and learn, create and discover. I hope the garden where you are growing is a place where your imagination can grow all the way up to the sky!
Please stop in again sometime.
I’ll be right here.
